    AMAZING experience. My friend and I came in last night for her first time and my second. The bartender was great! He was really busy but kept up with our copious orders like a superhero. I think his name is Jeff or Jeffrey? I'm not sure because the pineapple upside down shots he made were so good that I may have had a few.. I've never had a shot that tasted that much like the dessert it was supposed to be. So amidst all of the delicious and well made drinks I had I managed to lose my phone. My drunk self called twice last night to ask if anyone had found it and the dear sweet ladies who answered the phone were so patient with me and got my name and friends phone number in case they found it. They did and when I went to pick it up today SOMEONE HAD CHARGED IT!!! Seriously could not have had a better experience at Highlands. I love it and will definitely be back.

    Cool bar with lot of friendly and lively energy in there. They do kareoke nights, and jam nights. The staff is friendly and personable. Food is pretty solid as well, especially the mashed potatoes. Seem to have a lot of regulars, who added to the joyful atmosphere.

    The tall guy with a beard that bartends was rude to my friend and I the other night. More specifically towards me. He told me that I don’t look anything like my id picture, so he can’t serve me. I’m 34 years old! Thanks, but no thanks! I changed my hair color and haircut, that’s all that has changed. If I have no problems getting into a casino, then this shouldn’t be an issue. You should not be a bartender, if you cannot distinguish a change in hair color, makeup, and hair style. Just wow! Never coming to this place again!

    We came with friends one Saturday the live music out on the deck was the best part! Food was ok but we really came for the atmosphere those guys can sing!

    Highlands is great. Especially on Tuesday nights when have two dollar drafts and well drinks plus 1.50 tacos. It's really the best deal and the food is good. This is really the best bar in Kennesaw.
